  • Info about the PI dataset: CH-DAV FP2020 (1997-2019)
  • Reason for re-calculation: Replace IRGA75 fluxes for this year that we shared previously in FLUXNET datasets with (better) IRGA72 fluxes.
  • Note about data shared with FLUXNET: IRGA72 fluxes for this year had missing data before 6 Mar 2015. Gaps were filled with results from (Burba-corrected) IRGA75 flux calculations for the same year, using the *_ghg-europe_* file from FF-201606 / Level-2_QC-20160601-103748-bc5 (the EddyPro version back then did not yet output the *_fluxnet_* file found in later versions).

Notes

  • Info about the PI dataset: CH-DAV FP2020 (1997-2019)
  • For CH-DAV, we already share IRGA75 fluxes for 2015. Here we also calculated the concurrently measured IRGA72 fluxes.
  • These fluxes were calculated to be shared for a manuscript that is in preparation at the time of writing (Sep 2019). The ms compares IRGA72 and IRGA75 fluxes during time periods where both instruments measured at the same site.
  • Needs not to be uploaded and shared via FLUXNET, because we already share the IRGA75 fluxes. If we uploaded IRGA72 fluxes for the same period, the IRGA75 fluxes would be overwritten which we do not want.
  • With the introduction of Amp, Level-2 fluxes can be created on demand, soon also Level-3-4 fluxes.
  • Final Level-3-4 fluxes are currently only available for years that we uploaded to FLUXNET.
  • First flux results merged with Amp.
  • Important: For some reason CO2 fluxes start in March. At the time of writing it was unclear why Jan and Feb fluxes were missing from the results. Other fluxes, e.g. H2O flux, are available for Jan and Feb also.

  • (bc5) … 5% Burba correction. Quality-controlled Level-2 fluxes were corrected for self-heating of the gas analyzer (Burba correction, off-season uptake correction). The correction was not fully (100%) applied, but only with a strength of 5%, which is considered more accurate for our sites due to the tilted installation angle of the open-path IRGA75.
