Talking Points

Info

If you are (Tech-)SRP, please attend QA/QC meetings or tell LH if you can’t, needed for planning of the meetings.

SRP & Tech-SRP: please prepare short statement about your site and send to to LH (max. 2 sentences)

News

  • The automatic fluxes are currently not working due to network permission issues for LH. LH discussed the issues with ISG. LH’s local computer setup will be adjusted in December, after then there should be no (or less…) issues with the automatic fluxes.
  • On-demand flux calculations on the RDS are working again. The RDS is now called RDSnx. The RDSnx is currently used by LH, RM and IF. A short introduction of how to use the RDSnx on Windows is given here: RDSnx – Remote Desktop Service
  • Work on the grassland data database will continue in December after permission issues are solved.

Reminders

  1. Automatic fluxes for last 14d (schedule is here) is currently offline because of permission issues
  2. Online weekly QA/QC checks for nearly all sites
  3. Most recent eddy covariance raw data plots are found in the following folder on our group drive (P) (currently not updated daily):

    P:\Flux\VPC_automatic_fluxes\vpc_automatic_flux_calcs/your_site/CO2*/EP-OUT*/plots/raw_data_csv_plots

Site Reports

CH-AWS

SRP (LH, fluxes): In the last month, data gap due to maintenance work. Data for the year look relatively complete.
T-SRP: –

CH-CHA

SRP: –
T-SRP: –

CH-DAV

SRP (MG, LH): Data coverage for the second half of 2018 is OK, gaps were caused by a bug in sonicread, otherwise EC system is running well. CO2 uptake in November.
T-SRP: –

CH-FRU

SRP (LH): Looks like a good and nearly complete dataset for the year so far.
T-SRP: –

CH-INO

SRP (RM): Still some problems with the decreasing cell pressure of the laser. At the moment, this does not affect the fluxes. Everything complete and looks good.
T-SRP: –

CH-LAE / CH-LAS

SRP (EPL): Fluxes look good. New RDS processing works well.
T-SRP: –

CH-OE2

SRP (RM): Data is complete and fluxes look good.
